Dear guest,
Scripts are a type of computer code used to perform tasks on web pages, such as making the site naviagation aid operate, incrementing a "number of visitors" counter each time there is a new visitor. Web scripts can be written in several script languages, such as javascript. These HyperTextBooks use scripts for some parts of web pages to work properly. If scripts are not enabled in your browser, you will not be able to access some parts of the site and some content may not appear, such as your notes and any messages or announcements I add to these pages through scripts.
To enable scripts in Internet Explorer 5.01 or later
- On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Under the Security tab, click the Internet Web content zone.
- Do one of the following:
- To use the default security setting (Medium), which allows script, click Default Level.
- To turn on script without changing other security settings, click Custom Level. In the Settings list, scroll down to Active scripting and click Enable.
To enable scripts in Mozilla based browsers, such as Firefox, SeaMonkey, Flock, etc.
- On the Edit menu, select Perferences.
- Under the Advanced option, click the Scripts & Plug-ins option.
- In the "Enable javascript for":
- Place a check mark next to Navigator.
- Then, click OK to close the Perferences dialog window.
To enable scripts in Opera
- Press F12.
- Click "Enable Javascript."
- Reload the page.
Best regards,
